Our paralegals assist with estate/elder law planning, probate/trust administration, corporate/commercial transactions and real estate matters; they are an integral part of our team, assisting will all substantive functions that do not require a law degree including conducting client meetings. Our paralegals also handle matters ranging from factual research and acquiring records to document drafting and coordinating document production.
Good people skills are essential for this position; there is substantial client contact in the form of scheduling/conducting meetings, phone calls and emails, and meeting clients’ overall legal needs. Our paralegals work independently, handling day-to-day workflows and deadlines. The ideal candidate must take initiative and have exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate should also have outstanding timekeeping ability, planning and organizational skills, and the ability to develop and implement organizational systems.
Successful candidates should have 5+ years related experience and a college degree as well as experience with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Experience with My Case practice management or similar software and QuickBooks is preferred.

We seek a self-directed attorney with 5+ years of related experience to join our growing practice. We are conveniently located on the East Side of Providence with plentiful, free parking.

Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in serving our clients. Responsibilities will include:
• drafting and reviewing legal documents such as wills, trusts and contracts;
• overseeing probate and trust administration matters;
• advising clients on complex estate planning and business matters including wealth preservation, long term care planning, asset protection and succession planning;
• structuring corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions and business agreements;
• conducting legal research, analyzing statutes and staying up-to-date on laws and regulations affecting our clients;
• collaborating with senior attorneys to develop systems and strategies to deliver exceptional client service;
• managing a diverse portfolio of clients and fostering long-term relationships.
The successful candidate will possession strong academic credentials; exceptional analytical, research, writing and problem-solving skills; a proven track record of delivering outstanding legal services and client satisfaction; excellent verbal and written communication abilities; and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Rhode Island bar admission is required. Massachusetts bar admission is a plus.
